On behalf of Project Group Kai Partale supports the programme "Revitalisation of History in Sanliurfa" in Turkey, which helps Sanliurfa to implement the quality programme.

The assurance of certain quality standards of tourist services plays an important role in the profiling of regions for various reasons. On the one hand, it contributes to the reduction of uncertainty for the customer, because he can rely on a certain quality level. On the other hand, the image of the region conveyed by communication is confirmed and thus consolidated by high-quality service chains within the core businesses. Finally, comprehensive quality assurance provides competitive advantages over the competition.

The project to be supported is essentially based on the pillars of quality management and sustainable tourism development. The quality offensive in Sanliurfa will represent a comprehensive concept for regional quality assurance, which can also be built on existing initiatives.

Based on analyses of the actual situation (demand analysis, value chain analysis, training needs analysis and strengths-weaknesses analysis of the offer) as well as workshops with relevant actors in the hotel and gastronomy sector, concrete measures for the development and improvement of the tourism service quality will be planned and implemented.
