Interreg IIIA Project Progress Review

HOFHEIM. The progress of infrastructure and marketing activities has been evaluated within a German-Dutch cross-border Interreg IIIA project. The project activities included renovation of historical monuments, development of tourist information posts, packaging of tourism products and public relations.

The aims of the project progress review was to assess the concept of the initial project, the work done, objectives achieved so far and to identify the conceptual, organizational and other types of factors that support or limit the effectiveness and the impact of the project as well as to propose revisions regarding the types of interventions.

The main objectives, potential impacts and indicators have been evaluated. In addition, to directly measurable results of the project, horizontal principles of the labor market, equal opportunities, sustainable development and the protection and improvement of the environment were taken into account.
