Results of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Visitor Survey are available

On behalf of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourist Board, we spent a year surveying the state's visitors and can now present a real treasure trove of data.

7,152 privately motivated overnight guests answered more than 50 questions on fundamental and current tourism topics. As with the Comparative Visitor Monitor, the survey was carried out in writing using an online and a printed questionnaire, each in seven region-specific versions.

The result is a huge pool of data that provides insights for tourism organisations at all levels.

The results are available via a user-friendly data dashboard that enables flexible analyses. Different segments or specific time periods can be analysed as required.

Here are just a few examples of questions that can be answered at any time based on the very large data set and with the help of the dashboard:

> How satisfied were visitors in the summer season?

> Which booking channels do new customers in the camping segment choose?

> Which leisure activities do families with children use?

> Where do short break travellers come from?

> What bothers dissatisfied visitors?

An overview of the results is also available in the form of graphical documentation - including comparative values from the Comparative Visitor Monitor and the Quality Monitor for German Tourism.
