After the pilot project in Munich, place2help Rhein-Main is now ready to start. On October 25, 2017 we presented the new platform for crowdfunding projects, social start-ups and committed companies to partners and friends for the first time.

With place2help Rhein-Main we will support new ways of financing local projects. So that good ideas can be turned into realizable projects that make our region more liveable and sustainable.

What we have in mind:

place2help Rhein-Main will bring together innovative projects from the region with financial supporters and present the commitment of all participants on a platform with a broad reach. The core will be an online platform that bundles crowdfunding projects from different platforms and makes them visible in the region. Through our regular event format Pitch&Network Rhein-Main, we also bring project initiators and sponsors together personally, so that a lively network is created that has the power to really make a difference for the region.

place2help Rhine-Main supports crowdfunding projects that have the potential to enrich the region, make it more liveable and sustainable, from façade greening and innovative mobility offers to children's playgrounds or cultural events. The projects may be backed by start-ups, associations or initiatives that are passionate about driving your ideas forward. Through place2help Rhine-Main, project initiators receive free visibility in the region and access to funding, which we provide together with partners.

For us, crowdfunding is more than just a way to finance projects. Properly implemented, crowdfunding is an instrument for sustainable regional development that provides impulses for more innovation, creativity, co-responsibility and regional identity.
